Former Match of the Day Producer Book Launch

Former Match of the Day editor, Paul Armstrong has launched his book of memoirs in London with the help of some familiar friends. Olner Pro Sport Media were there to capture the amosphere and listen to some of the hilarious stories recalled by Paul, Gary Lineker, Jonathan Pearce, Guy Mowbray and Steve Wilson.

Why Are We Always on Last? is a fly-on-the-wall account of a 30-year career working for BBC Sport, including steering the flagship football programme through turbulant times in the face of stiff competition from Sky and social media. It covers Paul’s time working with some of Match of the Day’s iconic presenters, managers and players from Coleman and Clough to Lineker and Shearer.

Joma Catalogue Photoshoot – Madrid 2018

Continuing our long relationship with Spanish sportswear brand, Joma Sport, the team from Olner Pro Sport Media visited Madrid recently to art direct, photograph and video the new 2019 Collection of performance and training products.

The week in the Spanish capital was mostly spent locked away in a photographic studio close to the capital cities’ enormous railway station, where models were hired to pose in a full range of Joma technical sportswear garments. 2018 was the latest annual teamwear shoot that Olner Pro Sport Media have managed for the growing Joma brand, following on from footwear and professional football club kit launches and UK social media support.

Look out for the impressive Joma 2019 Teamwear Collection launch in early 2019.

BHAFC Banners for Memory Lane

BHAFC Banners for Memory Lane

Premier League club, Brighton & Hove Albion have worked with Olner Pro Sport Media since their more modest existence at the Withdean Stadium. And since the move to the incredible American Express Community Stadium, OPSM have continued to assist on a number of prestigious commissions, as well as at the equally impressive training ground, the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre.

Recently, the club wanted to update all 23 ‘Memory Lane’ giant player banners which run the entire length of the stadium’s west stand outer concourse. The banners pay tribute to some of The Seagulls most iconic players and successes and OPSM were on hand to illustrate one image for each banner.

The banners are a favourite with home supporters, who were consulted over the choice of featured players and matches and which are a lasting memory from their life as Seagulls’ fans. The banners are also a point of interest for many visiting fans throughout the season.

Ben Thornley, Class of ’92 Star’s Book Cover Photoshoot

Ben Thornley, Class of ’92 Star’s Book Cover Photoshoot

Think David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes or Gary Neville were the stars of Manchester United’s FA Youth Cup success back in 1992? Think again!

According to many leading football experts, including Sir Alex Ferguson, one player was cut out to make the grade ahead of anyone else. Tackled: The Class of ’92 Star Who Never Got to Graduate is the compelling autobiography of Ben Thornley, the teenager who had the world at his feet, only for one tackle to shatter his knee and his dreams of playing for the biggest club in the world.

In June 2018, Olner Pro Sport Media were invited to art direct the book cover photography shoot with Ben at the famous Old Trafford stadium and then to compose the design and artwork.
